Run Dutch & Mexican Apps on One iPhone
Trying to use Dutch apps like ABN, ING or DigiD, and Mexican apps like Soriana, Bitso, GNP or Axa on the same iPhone?
๐ก Good news: You donโt need a second iPhoneย or to permanently change your App Store region.
ย โ The Simple Trick
You can use a Second Apple ID set to another countryโs App Store.
Download the apps you need, then switch back to your main Apple ID.
The apps stay installed and fully usable.
No jailbreak, no hacks โ and no second device needed.
You can run:
* ๐ณ๐ฑ ING, ABN, DigiD, etc. etc.
* ๐ฒ๐ฝ Soriana, Bitso, GNP, Axa, etc.
All on a single iPhone.
๐ ๏ธ The Solution: Use a Second Apple ID
Make a second Apple ID, set to a different country only to download region-specific apps, then switch back to your main account.
๐ Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Create a Second Apple ID
-
First go to appleid.apple.com
-
Choose a new email address (Gmail, Outlook, etc.)
-
Set the country to the one you want apps from (e.g. Mexico or Netherlands)
-
You donโt need a real payment method if youโll only download free apps
2. Sign In to the App Store with the Second Apple ID
-
Then open the App Store on your iPhone
-
Tap your profile icon (top right)
-
Scroll down and tap Sign Out
-
Sign-in with your new Apple ID
3. Download the Regional Apps
-
Search and install the apps only available in that region
(e.g. Bitso, Rappi, Banorte, Mercado Libre MX, or DigiD, NS, ING NL)
4. Sign Back Into Your Main Apple ID
-
Finally go to the App Store again
-
Sign-out of the second account and back into your main one
โ All the downloaded apps remain on your iPhone and continue working โ even if they were installed under the other Apple ID.
โ Good to Know
-
Switching back to the original account might be needed to update the apps later.
-
No need to reset your iPhone, use a VPN, or change region settings.
-
This works for free and paid apps (if you add a valid payment method).
