As someone who has always loved the outdoors and appreciates the beauty of Mexico, I consider myself fortunate to live in Playa del Carmen, with its beautiful beaches just minutes away.
Recently, I’ve been spending some time with my family at Playa 88.
It’s a public beach that feels like a secret paradise, and I’m excited to share.
One of the best things about Playa 88 is its convenience.
Located just a quick 10-minute drive from both our home and the WakahChan project, it’s the perfect spot to relax and recharge without having to travel far.
Whether I’m wrapping up a busy workday or taking a break from planning our exciting new development, Playa 88 offers the ideal escape.
This beach is stunning, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water that seems to stretch endlessly.
Unlike some of the more crowded tourist beaches, Playa 88 retains a serene, laid-back vibe.
It’s a great place for a quiet morning walk, an afternoon swim, or just soaking in the sun with the sound of the waves in the background.
What makes it even better is that Playa 88 offers some frees small palapas—perfect for escaping the heat and enjoying some shade without having to pay extra.
Whether you’re bringing family, meeting up with friends, or simply going solo, these palapas provide a comfortable spot to sit and relax.
For me, this beach represents the perfect balance between convenience and natural beauty.
It’s close enough to visit often, but still has that untouched, tranquil feel that reminds me why I fell in love with this region in the first place.
Being so near to both our home and the WakahChan project location, Playa 88 feels like an extension of the community we’re building—a place where nature and modern living harmoniously coexist.
If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend checking it out.
Whether you’re looking for a quick getaway, a quiet spot to clear your mind, or simply a place to enjoy Mexico’s natural beauty, Playa 88 won’t disappoint.
It’s the kind of place that makes you grateful for the lifestyle Playa del Carmen has to offer—one where beauty, simplicity, and nature are always within reach.
